The forecast in Portland is rain, hard rain, more rain and wind.
Jeff works about 50 hours a week these days and spends approximately 12 to 16 hours commuting weekly so the weekends when I have him, it’s family time.
Usually I forget the camera, and if I don’t forget it it eats batteries so fast I can’t get a decent shot. So I have learned: I carry 8 batteries with me and swap them out, I carry the camera on the tripod because my subjects are in motion and most my shots are blurry. I am reading that the Nikon D70 and D80 have a battery pack that last for thousands of pictures. Drooling, mine goes dead after 20 and that is without the LiveView and without flash. With flash I get about 7 to 10 pics. So I just keep switching out the batteries, rotating them. Isn’t that a hassle? You betcha.
